The national team of Bulgaria organised the community meeting in Belitsa. The meeting was attend from Roma mothers. The activity is a part of the module “Community work”of the project. The discussion with mothers is aim to raising parents awareness of the risk to which is exposed the child subjected to early marriages. In Bulgaria the module is implementing in Roma communities, Blagoevgrad region in settlements about 6.700 Roma population – Blagoevgrad, Belitsa, Simitli, Krupnik. The main activities include establishment of youth groups/clubs to influence young people against early marriage in their community and with support from their families (mothers, grandmothers, husbands, fiances, fathers, brothers, sisters, etc).
On the meeting Bulgarian team present the project (aim, task, activities), discussed the tradition of Roma marriage and weddings in Belitsa. The project team observed the place where to set up the youth club.
